Gonna keep this short.....
On April the 12th, A good friend was the victim of art theft right here on Dev.
Not going to name names or point fingers as the issue's been resolved, but it rankles me to see it happen.

I admit that I've used others' ideas, and yes, even their artwork in some of my own works and ideas. However, when I do so, I always try and give credit.
I usually won't even post it blind. Credit will be given, even if all I say is that the original wasn't mine.

If I know the artist on the original, I'll make the credit. That's how it SHOULD be all the time.

The person involved in yesterday's incident merely resorted, at first, to hiding the comments of those pointing the incriminating fingers.
Fortunately, the individual decided to remove the work.

Please, folks. If a work's yours, great. If it's borrowed, or uses the work of another, please, please, give credit where credit is due.
