Firehawk Armor-Mk 2 by Roguewing Firehawk Armor-Mk 2 by Roguewing
After quite awhile, I finally settled on the "production" version of the Omega 7 Firehawk Prototype.
This one was made using the "Stealth Operations" suit from the line of figures they came out with for the first "Iron Man" movie.
I started out by repainting the whole figure in graphite metallic. Then I went in and painted the boots, gloves, and chest piece gold along with a section of the helmet.
Then I gave the whole figure a black wash to help bring out the detail and tone down the gold.
With the painting done, I glued the "Omega 7" emblems to the chest and shoulders to both mark the suit and to hide the "arc reactor" in the figure's chest.
That done, I cut a small strip of paper to create the "visor" and painted it in the right color.
The base he's attached to is simply a scrap piece of plastic I had handy, painted grey. The "label" was printed on my printer and glued down with Elmer's.

Firehawk and his companions can be found in the RPs at the "Rogues RP Crypt"
Firehawk was created by :iconroguewing: and is my property.

So, is the Firehawk Armor your take of Iron Man's suit?

Kind of, yes. Basically a similar idea for a different universe.
That, and unlike Iron Man, this suit wasn't built by the guy inside it.

I can see that.
Hasbro put the fins on the Stealth suit in this version. I figure they're "cooling fins" or something like that for this suit
