Okay, now for some pics of the latest figure repaint work.
Today, I give you the Firehawk Portable armor (the Mark 3)
This one started life as the "Mark V" or "Suitcase Armor" from the 6 inch Iron Man 2 figures Wal-Mart had.
I started by primering him in Grey:
Then I overcoated him in flat black.
The next step was a base coat of Testors' "Graphite Dust"
After that was dry, I went in and painted the boots, gloves, chest and shoulders, and a section of his helmet in with metallic gold craft paints.
With that done, I used a black wash over the entire armor to enhance the figure's detail.
Then, like with the previous versions of the armor, I used some copy paper parts to placxe the "Omega 7" emblems over the "Arc Reactor" and on the shoulders.
Using the same technique, I created a "visor" on the helmet in place of the notmal eyeholes.
The figure was attached to a plastic base with Aves Apoxie Sculpt after the suitcase was given a similar treatment as the armor.
"Firehawk" belongs to
Iron Man belongs to Marvel
