When this week started, my "Favorites" had numerous folders, plus 125 pages of unsorted faves.
Well, as of now, that 125 pages is down below twenty.
I'm happy...for now.
Still need to go through the subfolders and do some further sorting , but I've made good progress
UPDATE:
Marvel/DC folder's done now.
Basically leaves the "Toon based" folder to go through
UPDATE: 5/15/16
"Toon-based" is done as well.
Lots of work, but I though it was worth it

REALLY Tired of the AI Boom
Back when I started making art, many, many years ago, it was all mostly hand done. Then came the ability to edit pictures on the computer, as well as manipulating photos. I started working in Poser and other 3d programs, and people tagged THAT as cheating, and taking shortcuts. The 'critics' would call it being lazy. They'd say that it took no creativity. Well, folks, At least with Poser, there's some effort to actually pose the models, to create the faces, to set the scenes. Nowadays, you don't need that. Now, you can put up hordes of images in a day by using AI to do all the actual work for you. These days, I see more and more profiles where the 'art' all seems to have variations on the same themes, or multiple iterations of images made from similar prompts. Now, I understand that there are those who cannot draw. I get that. But I'm tired of seeing sites flooded with so-called AI 'Art' in lieu of people actually making an effort to create something original.
Decided I Needed to Update
Like the title says, I decided I needed to update. Most of my Poser 11 issues have been slowly getting resolved. Still can't figure out why running P3do sees the files one way, but running it another doesn't see the same files. Discovered ways to get Poser 11 to see things, though. And that's what matters. Personal jury is still out on the new Eclipse format here, but I'm at least trying to get used to it. I'll admit that my "cover" pic is an old one, but I like how it worked out on the header here Been doing more building than rendering lately, and I feel I haven't been posting nearly enough.
And the Lack Of Fun Continues
Finding a great deal more files that don't wan't to work right, or can't be found in the current version of Poser
Been VERY glad that I keep backups of all of the files I buy, as well as Daz having the ability to reinstall virtually everything I've ever bought
Still not fun, but making progress
NOT Fun In Any Way Shape Or Form
Been a LONG time since I did one of these.
Just spent the better part of the last four hours trying to recreate a BUNCH of textures that worked fine in the 32-bit version of Poser 11.
Thing was, the only two places my computer could even SEE those textures were in Poser, or P3dO Explorer.
Windows Explorer wouldn't see them, and neither Poser 9 nor the updated version of Poser from Renerosity/Bondware would see them either.
Also, NONE of my Poser backups had those files in them.
Now, I did have one small bit of luck with this.
I was able to resize the P3dO Explorer thumbnails to 512 x 512 and recreate the files using those.
Was a pain.
